TiN: Titanium Nitride - General purpose coating ideal for low carbon steels.  Offers lubricity and longer tool life versus uncoated tools.

AlTiN +: Aluminum Titanium Nitride Plus - Surpasses the proven performance of AlTiN for superior extreme machining results.  With a thermal stability above 1,600 degrees (900 C) this coating excels in high speed dry machining applications. Ideal for Titanium, hardened steels, stainless steels and high temp applications.  Offers longer tool life, faster speeds and feeds and gives best results in applications that generate heat.
