Quantity discounts are available for all cermet inserts. Quantity discounts will show once you select an insert and a grade.
Three grades of Cermet are available:
- CC-42 - Romay's hardest Cermet Grade recommended for turning, boring, threading and grooving. The best choice for finish machining of steels, stainless steels and cast irons.
- CC-43 - Romay's toughest Cermet Grade is tough enough for milling and light roughing, also turning carbon, alloy and stainless steels as well as ductile and cast irons.
- CC-44 - Romay's best overall Cermet Grade with the widest application area, is relatively tough, but hard. It is recommended for turning, boring, threading and grooving. The best choice for semi-roughing to finishing of carbon, alloy and stainless steels and cast irons. Also suitable for light milling of cast iron and steels.
